Program Mission

The Business Administration Program (English Section) at the Faculty of Business Administration – Horus University in Egypt is committed to implementing a modern educational approach in management sciences to prepare graduates who are qualified in innovation and scientific research, capable of serving the community locally and regionally, and contributing to sustainable development.

Program Features

  1. Providing an outstanding educational service through material and human resources, represented by the number and diversity of classrooms and laboratories, where students study in classrooms equipped with all the latest equipment and technology. The number of students is relatively small compared to business administration programs in similar colleges, which creates an environment that stimulates learning.
  2. The presence of an elite group of faculty members specializing in business administration in teaching and research, who are appointed and hold master’s and PhD degrees from prestigious local and international universities. They have extensive experience and have published research in international scientific journals according to the two databases (Web of Science – Scopus).
  3. Studying in English provides graduates with a significant competitive advantage in the local, regional, and international job market, as it allows them to pursue employment opportunities in various fields at the local and international levels.
  4. Focus on developing technical and personal skills such as leadership, communication, problem solving, and critical thinking, enabling students to take on managerial or executive positions that are fundamental to business success.
  5. The program is based on a credit hour system with a total of 135 credit hours in accordance with the latest applicable systems, allowing for great flexibility in studying courses. The academic year is divided into two semesters in addition to a summer semester (optional).
  6. The program covers topics related to business administration, marketing, production and operations management, international business, cross-cultural communication, and contemporary trends in management, as well as topics related to problem solving in different business environments, contributing to the development of graduates who are compatible with the requirements of the job market and capable of competing.
  7. Connecting with practical expertise from companies specializing in entrepreneurship and strengthening relationships with industry leaders is an important strategic step in creating multiple opportunities for students and value for networking through cooperation protocols in field training, internships, and employment forums for students and graduates.
  8. The program includes special courses to enhance entrepreneurial skills, enabling students to start their own businesses or take on innovative roles in business establishments locally and internationally.
  9. The program allows students to study courses directly and electronically (hybrid education) with the possibility of taking mid-term exams and practical tests using electronic systems available through Microsoft Teams and the electronic exam system.
  10. Developing self-learning skills and students’ proficiency in using computers and the Internet.
  11. The program uses multiple student assessment mechanisms in accordance with the approved college regulations and the program itself. These mechanisms rely on continuous assessment through monitoring students’ performance in various tests, assignments, tasks, and other activities adopted by the program as methods of assessment during the study period.
  12. Graduates of the program can work in various sectors such as finance, marketing, consulting, human resources management, supply chain management, and others, providing them with flexibility in their career paths.

Program Objectives

The Business Administration Program at the Faculty of Business Administration – Horus University aims to :

1) Prepare distinguished graduates who possess up-to-date knowledge and skills in management and business sciences, enabling them to think analytically, solve problems, and make effective decisions within local and regional business environments.

2) Develop graduates’ capabilities in scientific research, innovation, and entrepreneurship to contribute to community service and the achievement of sustainable development goals.

3) Promote ethical and professional values as well as social responsibility among graduates by instilling the principles of integrity, adherence to legal frameworks, and compliance with academic and administrative standards.

4) Enhancing graduates’ self-learning abilities through the effective use of information technology, enabling continuous learning, effective communication, and adaptability to changes in the market.
