Faculty of Business Administration Organizes the Third Employment Forum

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Saber – Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Horus University – Egypt, the Faculty of Business Administration organized its Third Employment Forum, with the participation of distinguished university leaders and representatives of major companies and economic institutions. The event aimed to strengthen the link between university students and the labor market, equipping them with the essential skills for professional success and entrepreneurship.

  • Dr. Magda Nasr – Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research

Supervision:

  • Prof. Dr. Hanaa El-Gohary – Acting Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration
  • Prof. Dr. Asmaa Azmi – Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development
  • Yomna Gad El-Haq – Lecturer of Economics, who coordinated the forum

The faculty was also honored by the presence of Eng. Shaimaa El-Sediq – Deputy Governor of Damietta, who delivered the opening speech. She emphasized the importance of supporting such initiatives, which prepare young people with the practical skills needed in the job market, highlighting the vital role of universities in building a competitive and development-oriented generation.

A panel discussion titled
“Preparing Business Administration Students and Graduates for the Labor Market”
featured:

  • Al-Mu’tasim Billah Mostafa – Assistant Professor of Economics at Mansoura University and Horus University, and Director of International Students Administration at Mansoura University
  • Mohamed Mansan – Operations Manager, Creativa Hub Mansoura
  • Youssef Magdy – Computer Engineer, TEDx Speaker, and Educational Content Creator

Moderated by: TA Taghreed Hamdy and TA Mai Bebars

Activities and Interview Simulation:

A practical interview simulation was delivered by Eng. Ibrahim Nasif, along with distinguished graduates Hussein Ehab and Abdelrahman Al-Atterby.
The daily program was presented by TA Manar Emad and TA Ahmed Seddik.

Accompanying Exhibition:

The forum also included an exhibition inaugurated by the Board of Trustees, the Deputy Governor, and company representatives. It featured booths of major companies and institutions, alongside innovative student projects and entrepreneurial products from the Faculty’s students, in support of their startups and practical learning.

Forum Objectives:

This employment forum aligns with the Faculty’s commitment to empowering its students with real-world skills, expanding their opportunities for engagement with the job market, and supporting student-led entrepreneurial initiatives. The event featured active participation from Business Administration students and was organized under the supervision of the student team Gen Z, highlighting their role as genuine partners in university activities.
