Vision of the Unit

Leadership and excellence in training and qualifying personnel across various target groups through the delivery and evaluation of training programs, ensuring the achievement of the College and University’s vision.

Mission of the Unit

Within the framework of the College’s mission, the Unit is committed to training human resources among the targeted groups by addressing and developing their training needs in alignment with the application of self-development concepts, professional skills, and practices, in a manner that ensures adaptation to contemporary and future challenges.

Unit Responsibilities

  1. Develop the annual training plan for programs targeting the specified groups (faculty members and their assistants, administrators, staff, and students of the College) based on a training needs assessment aimed at enhancing the level and efficiency of the different groups.
  2. Determine appropriate timeframes according to the nature of the target groups and specify the venues for conducting the training programs.
  3. Communicate with the targeted groups regarding the proposed training program to request suitable nominations.
  4. Follow up on nominations and ensure their alignment with the objectives of the proposed training program to maximize its benefits.
  5. Ensure the preparation of training materials and their distribution to trainees on the first day of the program.
  6. Monitor the implementation of the training program and address any obstacles hindering its execution through the program coordinator.
  7. Oversee the issuance of training program completion certificates.
  8. Follow up on the evaluation of training programs and prepare relevant reports.
  9. Assess training programs and take corrective actions to address any obstacles encountered during implementation, working to resolve or minimize such challenges in future programs.
    • Serve as a source of the College’s self-generated resource development by providing training services and professional, scientific, and practical consultations to various community stakeholders.
